Missing articles
It would be useful if the project could come up with a list of missing articles, particularly for classical music.--Ipigott (talk) 14:44, 22 November 2019 (UTC)

How about this?

Scope suggestion
Would anyone be opposed to me editing the listed scope to change "women songwriters" to "women songwriters and composers" and "women singers" to "women musicians"? Alternatively, could change "women singers" to "women singers and instrumentalists." Jmertel23 (talk) 12:52, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
Task force of WikiProject Women?
Just floating the idea... how do editors feel about making this project a task force of WikiProject Women? If members prefer to keep as a standalone project, no worries, just wondering if the consolidation might make sense. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:38, 18 January 2020 (UTC)
Project name
Why is this project's name using "in Music" when the relevant article is called Women in music? I can see no reason to use caps. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 02:06, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- PS: I notice there are 3 pages in Category:Project-Class Women in music articles that use lower case, and none, apart from this one, using upper case. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 02:09, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- Further, Template:WikiProject Women in music uses lower case. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 04:18, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
Female musicians and luthiers
Hi all. I've created the following previously missing pages:
Musicians
- Maya Youssef
- Alice Mary Jelaska
- Negar Bouban
- Djanan Turan
- Draft:Marina Toshich ← This one was moved to Draft status. — Maile (talk) 16:33, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
- Shuhrat Razzaqov
- Fatemeh Deghani
Luthiers
I'd be most grateful if you could help me to make them grow and I'll keep creating more since these are areas I'm interested in.

Unassessed articles
I see that about two thirds of the WP Women in Music articles have not been assessed. Perhaps some of the project's participants could devote part of their editing time to assessment. I try to help out myself whenever I come across a talk page including Women in Music. Today there are 21,815 unassessed articles. Let's see how we progress over the coming months.--Ipigott (talk) 09:36, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
Jade Bird DOB
Hey all, I'm trying to see if I can push this article as close to GA as possible and using Lorde as a guide. There are plenty of good sources out there and I can reckon I can do it. Only issue I've come across so far is, like a lot of BLPs I've seen, it's hard to find a reliable source for her date of birth. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks Spiderone 18:28, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
Assessment chart needs a look-over
Could someone take a look at the Asessing importance section? It seems like it was originally copied from the Women Writers WikiProject, and wasn't fully changed (the examples were all of writers, not music-related). I edited it and added examples based off of already-assessed articles, but I'm not super familiar with assessing for this WikiProject. Thanks! - Whisperjanes (talk) 18:52, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
Nicole (German Singer)
I've spent the last few days expanding the Nicole article. I've rewritten most of it and added some tables for her discography. Any feedback would be welcome. Up until a few days ago, I've mostly only done small edits on Wikipedia. GravityIsForSuckers (talk) 18:06, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
Kristle Murden
Would someone from this WikiProject take a look at Kristle Murden, assess it, and also see if they can help out the subject of the article at Talk:Kristle Murden#Maintenance template removal? Thanks. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:50, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
Hùg Air A' Bhonaid Mhòir
Can we get help fixing this song's stub? Bearian (talk) 21:30, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
