Welcome to WikiProject Georgia (U.S. state). We are a group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of articles related to the U.S. state of Georgia.

Goals

The goal of this WikiProject is to provide complete coverage on subjects related to Georgia, by expanding articles on people, places, and things related to Georgia.

Scope

This project proposes to work with all pages related to the state of Georgia, its history, geography, and people. These articles should all be included in the Category:Georgia (U.S. state) or one of its subcategories.

Guidelines

Articles stemming from Wikiproject Georgia are not exempt from Wikipedia deletion policies. Any article may be included in Wikiproject Georgia that is

Notable,
Verifiable by reliable sources.
Compliant with every aspect of WP:NOT.
They should also follow the guidelines of the appropriate Wikipedia:Manual of Style, where appropriate.

WikiProject Georgia (U.S. state) uses Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Georgia (U.S. state) to monitor all Georgia articles needing images. In addition, Wikipedian photographers living in Georgia use the subcategories at Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Georgia (U.S. state) to locate those subjects near where they typically take photographs. The "imageneeded=" and "in=" parameters of {{WikiProject Georgia (U.S. state)}} populate these categories.
