Sharman DiVono is a science fiction novelist, short story writer, comics writer, and television writer.
DiVono's first published credits, in the 1981–1983, were as writer for the syndicated comic strips Star Trek and The Legend of Bruce Lee, both with the Los Angeles Times Syndicate. DiVono relied on her own background as a martial artist when writing the Bruce Lee strip.
DiVono's short stories based on the Silver Surfer character have been published in Silver Surfer anthologies. Her television writing has been of different genres altogether: comedy cartoons such as DuckTales and Garfield and Friends and the adventure cartoon series G.I. Joe.
