Rajiv Verma is a veteran Indian actor who works mainly in film and television.
Verma was born in Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh, India. He obtained his Architectural Degree from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology. Later, he took a Masters in Urban Design in Delhi’s School of Planning and Architecture He is married to Rita Bhaduri Verma. Rita is the sister of Jaya Bhadhuri Bachchan, making her the sister-in-law of superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Rita is an educationist based in their hometown Bhopal and is also a theatre actress who runs a group called Bhopal Theatres. They have two sons Dr.Shiladitya, who is a university professor, management consultant, writer and a painter based in UAE (married to Poorvie Karanwal), and Tathagat, a software engineer working in Mumbai (married to Darshika Mahajan) .
Rajiv Verma has been acting for over two decades and he mostly depicts fathers in his films. His television career started with the serial Chunauti (Doordarshan) in which he played a college principal and was widely appreciated. He also featured in the serial Mujrim Hazir (Doordarshan). He played Babu Saa in Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein, a series about a woman looking for the fifth and last bride for her youngest son. Rajiv Verma plays Mrs. Kaushik's husband. He also Babuji in Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (TV series).
He is also known for his famous role in the series Sanjivani - A Medical Boon, where he played the role of Dr. Yashraj Mehra. His role in this serial was highly liked and appreciated by his fans.
Rajiv Verma has been a passionate actor over the years, who always gives his 100% to any role assigned to him. He is, therefore, a very respectable and widely appreciated person in the industry. He was awarded at Zee-Rishtey Awards in the category of Favourite Saas-Sasur for his role in, ”Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein”.Though he is actively involved in the Film Industry, his love for Theatre is still on. In an interview, he stated that he would like to work as a full-time theatre artist.

Hoga Terra Baap, Bazaar E Husn, Phir Ussi Mod Par, Ebn-e-Batuta. and many many more.
