Mohammad Mahbubuzzaman was a Bangladeshi bureaucrat, Cabinet Secretary, and government minister.
Mahbubuzzaman was the Cabinet Secretary of during the government of General Hussain Mohammad Ershad. He joined the cabinet of Ershad after retiring from government service, as a minister. He served as the Minister of Agriculture from 1988 to 1990.
Mahbubuzzaman has two sons. His eldest son, Colonel Mohammad Anisuzzaman, was the Bangladesh Rifles Mymensingh Sector Commander and his youngest son, Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman, lives in the United States is the vice president of Bank of America in New York City. Colonel Mohammad Anisuzzaman was killed in the 2009 Bangladesh Rifles Mutiny.
Mahbubuzzaman died on 3 March 2008.
