F3: Fun and Frustration is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language comedy film written and directed by Anil Ravipudi. A sequel to the 2019 film F2: Fun and Frustration, it is produced by Dil Raju from his studio Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film stars Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah, and Mehreen Pirzada, with the music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
Principal photography of the film began in December 2020, and the film is scheduled to release on 27 August 2021.[1]

Development
Following the success of F2: Fun and Frustration (2019), producer Dil Raju announced its sequel in February 2019. He added that a third lead actor will be casted for the sequel.[3][4] However, in April 2020, director Ravipudi clarified that there was little space for a third protagonist.[5] In an interview in March 2021, Ravipudi said: "F3 is not a sequel to F2. It is completely a new story where the leads are seen getting frustrated caused by money."[6]
Cast and crew
Venkatesh, Tej, Tamannaah and Pirzada are reprising their roles in the sequel. Sunil is signed to play a key role in the film.[7] Devi Sri Prasad, who scored the music for F2, is retained as the music composer.[8] In April 2021, Anjali was casted in the film.[9]
Principal photography
F3 was formally launched in December 2020.[10] Principal photography of the film began on 24 December 2020 in Hyderabad.[11][12] Varun Tej has joined the production in January 2021.[13][14]
Release
On 28 January 2021, the film's release date was announced as 27 August 2021.[1]
