In the future, it will connect to SRT Red Lines and Airport Rail Link at the Bang Sue Grand Station. Its symbol color is blue.
Before August 2017, Bang Sue station only opened one platform. Passengers who would like to go to Hua Lamphong station had to wait the passengers from Hua Lamphong getting out and train checking. At present, an extension to Tha Phra station is in operation. Therefore, both platforms are now opened. In the past, platform 2 was planned to be used as MRT Purple Line platform, but was changed to use as MRT Blue Line towards Tha Phra station.
